We are proud to be a 100% volunteer organisation, dedicated to keeping our local and visiting boating communities safe on the water. As one of 47 Marine Rescue units across New South Wales, our team at Batemans Bay provides vital support to boaters and coastal users.
Our unit operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year; there are no public holidays for our members. Our volunteers offer a fully managed Log On and Log Off facility for both local and visiting vessels and provide general information to help improve your time and safety on the water.
Our Radio Room and Crew volunteers deliver assistance, guidance, and peace of mind to all who venture onto the water.

Before you head out, either up the River, in the bay and beyond, we strongly encourage you to Log On with Marine Rescue. It’s quick, free, and could save your life.
This is especially critical if you’re a lone skipper. We will know where you’re going, monitor your expected return time, and if you don’t check back in, we’ll take immediate action to contact you and ensure everything is okay. Learn how to Log On here
